Nicholas furniture has been manufacturing and re-upholstering on the Mornington Peninsula for over 20 years.
Headed by Nick Phillips whose passion for furniture and design was ignited during his apprenticeship with Moran in the 1980’s His talent for design was soon recognised with a move to the furniture development department where he received several awards for excellence in design.
In 1984 he started Nicholas furniture which became a successful manufacturing company employing several staff and supplying several up-market retailers.
In the late 90’s Nick started selling direct to public. The quality was soon sought after and business grew. Nick identified a gap in the market for quality custom made furniture.
In 2003 he opened a retail store Nicholas Design in Main Street, Mornington.
In 2006 he opened another store Hampton Street, Hampton.
